This explorer is a studio index for the djembe repo's V5 starter packet. It connects the existing README, Helmholtz/FEM analysis, historical CAD/archive material, photos, BOM scaffold, validation loop, visual authority register, validation gates, and risks without upgrading the repo to build-ready status.
Readiness boundary
Fabrication geometry still requires reviewed CAD, DXF, drawing, or design-table authority. Acoustic claims still require repeatable mic/FFT strike measurements with documented head, shell, tuning, and room conditions.
