# CNC And Fixture Plan

## Current Recommendation

Do not CNC the final bowl or bridge yet. The workbook needs clearer labels, the string schedule needs safety revision, and the neck/tail load path needs a proof-load plan.

## Near-Term Fixture Work

1. Build a miter sled stop setup for 15 deg bowl segments.
2. Cut one 12-segment scrap ring and validate closure.
3. Add a second stop/reference for 11.25 deg rim segments.
4. Laser-cut a bridge notch layout template only after final split-bank geometry is reviewed.
5. Make a bowl sanding/truing jig for the 20.3 in diameter profile.

## Toolpath Constraints

- No toolpath should remove material from the neck/spine load path without a revised structural drawing.
- Bridge notch toolpaths must leave rounded/polished string contact surfaces.
- Templates should include centerlines, registration holes, and revision labels.

## CNC-Ready Exit Criteria

- dimensioned CAD drawing exists
- workbook cell map is complete
- material is selected
- fixture dry-run completed on scrap
- validation hold points are printed and signed off
