# Photo Shotlist — Modular Pedestal Drum Stack

For the capstone deck once the instrument is fabricated.

## Hero shots

1. **Full instrument straight-on** — neutral grey backdrop, soft top-light, full
   pedestal visible from base to top drum. Camera at drum-3 height, slight
   downward angle.
2. **3/4 view with player** — show scale and ergonomic position. Player standing,
   mallets in hand, mid-strike on drum-2.
3. **Top-down view of all 5 drums** — birds-eye showing diameter progression.
4. **Base detail** — 380 mm plate, socket, 4 levelling feet.

## Detail shots

5. **Bearing edge close-up** (drum-3) — show the 45° inward chamfer where head
   meets shell.
6. **Lug + tension rod + claw assembly** — single rod, lit from the side.
7. **Internal bracket** — looking down into a shell, brackets visible at 120°.
8. **Welded shell seam, polished** — close-up of the smoothed weld bead on a
   shell exterior.
9. **Inter-drum rubber puck** — between drums 2 and 3, showing isolation gap.

## Documentation aesthetic

- Match `handpan/` reference photos: warm-grey backdrop, natural daylight or
  large soft-box, no harsh shadows, hero-grade depth-of-field.
- File-name convention: `images/<seq>-<short-desc>.jpg`,
  e.g. `images/01-hero-straight-on.jpg`.

## Placeholders

Until photos exist, drop `images/placeholder-<seq>.txt` files describing each
intended shot. Future photographer can replace.
