Subject: Quote request for stable hardwood / laminate stock for Wooden Hang prototype studies

Hello,

I am building a research prototype for a lap-played wooden tonal vessel with tuned top-plate note fields. I am looking for pricing and availability for small-quantity prototype material, with stability and consistency more important than visual figure.

## Requested Materials

1. Hard maple panels or blanks
   - target thickness: 0.25 in and 0.50 in
   - minimum usable area: 16 x 16 in
   - quarter-sawn or otherwise stable preferred

2. Walnut or maple body stock
   - target thickness: 8/4
   - clear enough for 18 in class ring blanks or laminated body parts

3. Birch laminate / plywood
   - void-free
   - approximately 0.25 in and 0.50 in thicknesses
   - stable multi-ply panels preferred

## Please Include

- species and cut description
- moisture condition if known
- price per board foot or panel
- lead time
- shipping or pickup options
- any recommendations for acoustically stable sheet or panel stock suitable for tuned wooden plates

This project is still in the prototype phase, so short lengths, offcuts, or sample-size material can be useful if the stock is flat and consistent.
