# Wooden Hang Visual BOM Brief

## Goal

Produce an image-forward parts overview that helps a builder and outside reviewer understand what is actually being made, bought, and tested.

## Required Plates

- Hero plate: full instrument concept with labels for ding, outer fields, rim, and gu.
- Prototype ladder plate: coupons, single-field rig, three-note sector, and full-layout body.
- Materials plate: top stock options, bowl stock options, gasket material, hardware, and measurement tools.
- Fixture plate: removable-top ring, port plugs, cradle, datum references, and CNC setup aids.

## Photo / Render Rules

- Use concept art only when clearly labeled `concept placeholder`.
- Use real shop photos for stock, fixtures, and prototypes once available.
- Show at least one exploded-style view of top plate, rim ring, bowl, gasket, and hardware.
- Keep white or light neutral backgrounds for BOM plates.

## Annotation Rules

- Every part gets quantity, material, and whether it is make/buy.
- Call out which parts are reusable test fixtures versus one-off prototype parts.
- Add one row for the skipped binary outputs so presentation readers know they were intentionally omitted for tooling reasons.
