01 · OverviewTunable Snare Frame Array
Three small snare-style frame drums — 10″, 8″, and 6″ — welded from 1.0 mm cold-rolled steel cylinders and mounted side-by-side on a shared 1.5 mm CRS plasma-cut bracket. Each drum is independently tensioned via standard lug hardware and fitted with a bought Remo Ambassador head and snare wire mechanism. Together they form a 3-pitch hand percussion array tuned to D3 · A3 · D4 by default.
This explorer is the studio-facing build packet for tunable-snare-frame-array. Sections below cover design + acoustic model, BOM, flat-pattern geometry, fabrication plan, validation gates, risks, and capstone deliverables.

03 · WolframInteractive Acoustic Model
First-order Bessel membrane model. Computes required tension per drum to hit D3/A3/D4 targets; includes tension sweep for Drum B (critical: highest required tension) and inharmonic partial ratios.
